2007 Campbell's gathered 1,930 pounds of fresh produce for the Food Bank!

Campbell's Nurseries and Garden Centers are rounding up fresh produce for low income families again this summer with their Grow and Share program. Beginning Monday July 9th, 2007, area gardeners are being asked to bring excess fruits and vegetables on Mondays and Tuesdays to either of the Campbell's locations, 2342 S 40th or 7000 S 56th. The food will be collected for the Food Bank of Lincoln and distributed to 100 agencies in Southeast Nebraska that serve low-income individuals and families.

In 2006 the Grow and Share program yielded 1,719 pounds of fresh produce for the Food Bank. Our agencies will benefit as well as our Mobile Pantry Program.
