Capitol City RibFest:  August 11-14, 2011


On Thursday August 11th and Friday August 12th between 11:00 and 1:00 pm there will be free entrance into Ribfest with a freewill donation of a can of food or a monetary donation, all of this goes to the Food Bank, so go out enjoy ribs and support the Food Bank!

In 2010: The Food Bank received over2,700 pounds of food and $1105.00

Fact: With the Food Bank’s ability to turn every .24 into a pound of food, we can feed a person for .84 per day, or $5.88 per week. A $24 donation to the Food Bank of Lincoln can feed a family of four for a week.
