Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm – 4:00pm
The Food Bank of Lincoln is always in need of volunteers for events and special promotions which would be off-site.
Six to eight volunteers needed on the first Monday of each month at the V.A. Nebraska (600 S 70th East Auditorium doors).Volunteers are needed form 9:30 to 12:30 pm to help with this distribution.
Duties Include:
Unload Food Bank truck
Help with setup
Distribute product to clients
Help carry food to clients vehicles
Clean up
** Some jobs may require up to 40 lbs lifting, could be repeated lifting.

Through our SNAP Outreach Program we are helping individuals and families get food assistance via food stamps (currently known as SNAP – Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program). Our goal is to partner with community agencies to be able to reach out to those in need and help them fill out the application and offer follow-up as needed.
