Bridges Out of Poverty Workshop

Bridges Out of Poverty uses the lens of economic class and provides concrete tools and strategies for communities to understand, address, and alleviate poverty. Combined with an interactive poverty simulation, this event will provide tools for people of any age to better understand and address poverty in our communities.
Adults are invited to a Bridges Out of Poverty workshop facilitated by Allyn Sampson of the Foodbank of Lincoln with an intergenerational and interactive poverty simulation to follow, facilitated by Nebraska Extension. Below, you can sign up for one or both portions of the event.
When: Saturday, October 22 with Bridges training from 9 am-1pm and poverty simulation from 1-3 pm
Where: ConnectioN Point, 1333 N 33rd St Lincoln, NE (This event will be wheelchair accessible)
A free lunch and workbook will be provided to those attending the Bridges portion of this event.
