Product Recall

The Food Bank of Lincoln is urging anyone who received Great Value Cottage Cheese (Universal Product Code 078742-11673) from its mobile food distributions and partner agency sites to discard the product immediately due to a safety recall issued by the product’s manufacturer, Saputo Cheese USA Inc. The recalled cottage cheese should not be consumed as it may contain liquid dairy ingredients that were not fully pasteurized, according to a media announcement from Saputo. Consuming products that are not fully pasteurized can pose a significant health risk.
The recalled product was distributed at the following mobile food distribution sites and Food Bank partner agencies between Feb. 13 and Feb. 26 and should not be consumed:
